Polished Concrete

Our Polished Concrete Systems

Full Mechanical Polish

This is the mechanical process of polishing the surface of the existing concrete slab by using industrial grade floor grinders paired with top-quality diamond grinding wheels. During this process, the concrete surface is polished by using progressively finer grits of diamond grinding wheels until the floor reaches its desired level of shine and luster.

Grind and Seal

This polishing process is shorter than a full mechanical polish, yet it still shines just as bright with the help of a topical sealer. This process requires less grinding, honing, and polishing because its gloss and luster is achieved from a topical sealer. Sealed concrete is typically an affordable alternative to a full mechanically polished concrete surface.

Matte Polish

This polishing technique requires the same steps as a full mechanical polish, yet the final look is matte instead of strong luster since there is less grinding and refining. A matte finished polish will appear soft and hazy with minimal clarity and reflection.
